Yet another returning customer this time with a MK4 Escort convertible. The owner repainted this a few years back so we had to get it fully polished before getting it coated. We started by washing with Feynlab Pure Wash and followed on by removing any tar or iron deposits on the vehicle and finished off the decontamination process using Feynlab Prime and a decontamination sponge.
We then refined the silky smooth paint using Feynlab A50 to cut and start refining and followed on with Feynlab F500 Medium Cut and finished off with Feynlab F1000 Final Cut. The finsih is a startlingly bright level of gloss that matches the yellow paint!
We then used Feynlab Panel Prep on all the panels. Feynlab Ultra V2 was then used on all of the paintwork and cured to a glass like finish as the pictures attest to! The wheels were deep cleaned and both barrel and face were polished with Feynlab F1000 Final Cut and then coated with Feynlab Wheel and Caliper. We dressed the tyre walls using Feynlab Tyre Velvet. All the coatings were then cured using an InfraRed lamp ensuring an excellent crosslink between coating and paintwork.
Feynlab Plastic Black was then used on the scuttle panel and all the plastics in the engine bay to restore them to an as new condition.
An excellent result on a classic deign of the escort variant that is now protected for years to come!
