The Ultimate Multi-Surface Feynlab Protection Package

To give this hot hatch the protection its performance deserves, we designed a comprehensive, top-to-bottom surface treatment utilising Feynlab’s advanced nanotechnology.

1. Deep Decontamination & Paint Refinement

Before any coating could be applied, the car underwent a multi-stage safe wash. We used dedicated fallout removers to dissolve iron contamination and tar-off solutions to clear the sills. A final pass with a clay sponge left the paint perfectly smooth. We then carried out a machine polishing stage using Feynlab F500 Medium Cut and refined the gloss to a mirror-like finish using F1000 Final Cut, completely removing surface swirling.

2. High-Solid Paint Protection

With the paintwork bare and pristine, we applied Feynlab Ultra V3. This premium, high-solid ceramic coating forms an incredibly dense, durable bond with the clear coat, providing up to 6 years of certified protection. Ultra V3 drastically enhances color depth and gloss while creating an intensely hydrophobic layer that repels water, dirt, and environmental etching.

3. Wheels, Glass, and Underbody Armour

We didn't stop at the paint. To ensure total vehicle longevity, we treated every distinct surface zone with its engineered nano-equivalent:

• Wheels & Calipers: The alloy wheels and distinctive red GTI calipers were coated in Feynlab Wheel & Caliper. This high-temperature formula prevents hot brake dust from burning into the finish, making future wheel cleaning as simple as a pressure wash.

• The Glass: The Original Ceramic (1 Year) was applied to all exterior windows. This creates a slick, water-repellent barrier that forces rain to bead up and fly off at speeds above 60 km/h, massively increasing driving safety during heavy Irish downpours.

• The Underbody: To shield the chassis from rust and road salt degradation, we treated the underbody with Feynlab Industrial Coating. This ultra-robust, heavy-duty barrier ensures the mechanical underside is just as impeccably defended as the glossy bodywork above.
